You are invited to attend our Annual Burns Dinner celebrating the life and works of Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns. This formal occasion includes the traditional "Address to the Haggis", it’s ceremonial entrance accompanied by a Piper, followed by the requisite glass of whisky, and a Scottish meal to please all tastes. It is also the evening for induction of the newly elected COS officers. The highlights of the evening include a "Toast to the Immortal Memory of Robert Burns," a "Toast to the Land We’re From and to the Land We’re In," and, usually the most entertaining toasts, the "Toasts to the Lads and Lassies," which are usually written by those selected for the honor of delivering the toasts.
